The White Star Temple (WST) is a higher-dimensional Temple which sits outside of the space-time continuum. It may be likened to an energy-pattern or mandala which supports and provides the context for our connection with those Ascended Masters and Archangels associated with it.
Most meditations rely on us drawing higher-dimensional energies down into our consciousness within the physical world. The WST is the opposite to this, instead, we draw our consciousness up into the higher dimensions to be within the energies. This allows for a far more powerful experience. As such, people often report a profound sense of expanded awareness while in this form of meditation, even when listening to the channeled recordings.

Ascended Masters are beings of light from a higher dimension, whose purpose is to be in service to us as guides and teachers. Anyone can connect with them through meditation. They approach us from a position of complete equality, knowing that we are each a beautiful and divine soul. It is their wish that you come into an understanding of your own magnificence. As such, they will take every opportunity to help you experience this.
Many Ascended Masters, Archangels and other beings of light gift us with their presence within the White Star Temple (WST). They come into this higher dimensional place to offer us higher energies and an expanded spiritual awareness beyond the limitations of our own reality. They do not have an actual 'form' other than light even though they are often depicted as human - that is simply to help us relate to them.
